COURSE DESCRIPTION -Ceramics is a year course in which students will explore a broad range of techniques and approaches to ceramics through hand built and wheel thrown clay. A-G college req. - Students will learn ceramic skills and vocabulary as well as the endless possibilities involved with clay. - Students are also required to keep a notebook to organize and study information on specific artists, cultures, and techniques

LAB FEES $15 per semester for students who wish to keep their projects, which will be glazed, fired and then taken home. All projects are graded prior to the firing or recycling process. Lab fees can be paid at the ASB office, before, after school and during lunch. Students that choose not to pay lab fee, will use recycled clay for projects and will not be firing or taking home.
