Dear Parents and Carers, We only have 7 weeks left of this academic year, I am sure you will agree that it has flown by. We look forward to helping the children prepare for transition in to their next class (or their next school!). Many thanks to all Parents and Carers who took time to complete ‘Parent View’ as part of our recent Ofsted Inspection, and to those of you who completed ‘Text Parent’. There were 68 online responses and approximately 50 texts responses – thank you all for giving your time to share your opinions. The staff and children at school were fantastic during the inspection – calm, collected and it was very much business as usual. Everyone did a great job (governors included) in showing the Ofsted Team a true picture of our school. Once the Ofsted report is published (approx. 3 weeks) you will be notified, it will go on our website and if any of you do not have internet access we can provide you with a paper copy. Staffing Update -As you know, Mrs Walsh; our Deputy Head Teacher, joined us two years ago and has been instrumental in turning our Early Years Foundation Stage into a model of good practice that has been shared throughout the Wirral (and beyond to Liverpool!). Mrs Walsh has been successful in her application for a Headship at a local Early Years School. I know that you will join me in wishing her all the very best in her first Headship and she will be greatly missed. We are seeking to appoint a new Deputy Head Teacher as soon as possible and will keep you informed. -We have recruited some fantastic new members to enhance our team… Mrs Keenan will be joining us in September. Mrs Keenan is a specialist Modern Foreign Languages teacher and we look forward to seeing languages thrive throughout the school next year. Miss Rambton (who is currently working in year 3&4) has been appointed on a permanent basis. Miss Percy will also be joining us on a permanent basis in September. All our new appointments will further strengthen the great teaching and learning at Holy Trinity. Being Eco – our pond! Pond experts wanted! If anyone has any knowledge of how to dredge a pond, or is a volunteer willing to get messy and help dredge the pond, please get in touch with the School Office. Learning For Life, Caring For All, Living Each Day To The Full, Together As A Community. Pupil Voice You may have noticed the wonderful fencing that has been put up in our science area in the Key Stage 2 playground. This has been purchased by the School Council, who did their own fundraising, as they wanted to protect the daffodils from being trampled. Well done to our School Council – a fantastic effort. The School Council now have lots of other plans they would like to work on, including dredging the pond area (volunteers needed!) and fundraising for buddy benches in each playground.
