Having paid for their education, they have the power to make decision about their study. Second, it may improve the quality of teaching. Taught by teachers they like and thus choose, students may be better motivated and learn more effectively. Finally, it may improve communication between teachers and students. Due to lack of information, the teachers we thought good and selected may turn out unsuitable to us later. Second, popular teachers are not necessarily good teachers. They may be lenient and irresponsible and excuse students too much. Finally, as students, we should adapt ourselves to the society, including teachers, rather than vice versa. It is part of education we should have.
