4. Physical or mental disabilities that challenge daily activities: Play Golf, Epileptic, wanting to eat healthy and exercise. At the age of six months, I was diagnosed with epilepsy. My epileptic seizures would start up when I would get excited or very mad. My last epileptic attack was when I was 16 years old. In 2008, I had hernia surgery and the physician sad I have high blood pressure. I have been eating healthy foods and exercising daily to control high blood pressure. My goal is to eat healthy and exercise to stop taking Lisinopril, which is the medication. In my opinion and watching family and friends take medication, these medications can cause other side effects.

5. Education level: Ashford University Master’s Program My education level is a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education Administration in Ashford University. I am currently working on attaining a Master’s degree in Higher Education. This degree will give me an opportunity to advance in an occupational teaching position in Woodland Community College. I have been working at the college child development center or 16 years and kindly asked the dean if I can teach a class. He said it could be possibly because there is no conflict between unions.

6. Family structures: I’m a grandfather, father, son and brother Family means so much to me. I, Jesus am blessed to have a two year old granddaughter named Aniya. I am a single father of three children Joshua 23, Blessed 22 and Angelo 18. My parents are still living with a few health issues. I have two brothers named Alberto and Jose. No pets that are family members, but it seems that our neighbors cats are part of the picture..

7. Religious affiliations: Christian Catholic I am a true Christian Catholic that embraces and vision is to help my brothers and sisters in the western and eastern religion. My family and friends understand that I would do anything to help anyone in need. I belong to the Knights of Columbus, which is a brotherhood club to help the church community. On Mondays, I attend bible studies to understand more of my catholic faith.

8. Nationality: Chicano- Mexican American My nationality is a part of Mexico and the United States. With that said, my ethnicity is Chicano which literally is the Mexican American. I take a lot of pride of my heritage by going through many events, such as Car shows, old school and oldies but goodies concerts. Furthermore, it seems that every Sunday afternoons we always gather the family together to have barbeques.
