FIGHT 1.ONLY AS A LAST RESORT AND THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE 2.ATTEMPT TO DISABLE-INCAPACITATE-OVERPOWER THE SHOOTER(S) 3.BEST TIME TO ACT IS WHEN SHOOTER IS RELOADING 4.USE ANYTHING YOU CAN FIND TO ATTACK THEM 5.IF YOU DISABLE THEM – TAKE THEIR WEAPON 6.EITHER SHOOT THEM OR RUN – REMEMBER IF THE RESPONDING POLICE SEE YOU WITH A WEAPON, THEY MAY THINK YOU ARE THE BAD GUY.

Every possible scenario cannot be prevented or planned for, but, you can be better able to survive the event, if you take the time to prepare. In these times, everyone must make an effort to be more vigilant. In many areas/communities, Police Departments have limited manpower and resources and the response time to the scene could be significant. NEVER say that something like this cannot happen HERE. The reality is that it can.
