Fear of the unknown: Is she going to make it out of the house? Why is she running down to the basement? Why didn’t you pick up that axe? Are you really going to go outside after finding three of your friends dead?

Narrator—the voice that tells the story Point-of-View—the perspective from which a story is told (1 st person, 3 rd person) Unreliable Narrator—a narrator the reader cannot trust (for whatever reason) Inference—logical conclusion based on text and your own knowledge
