2. Workshop Aim To introduce variety of ideas how to use different activities and recourses to plan and manage an English lesson

Learning Outcomes By the end of the workshop, the trainees will be able: to create a “road map” of classroom activities, starting with the final destination, or learning objective, in mind. to design group work activities using some useful methods and techniques; to apply new material in their work. Participants will get tools and techniques for getting students to be focused and motivated.

5. Meet your trainers Task 1 You will hear 10 sentences about your trainers. Four sentences are about one trainer and four about the other trainer. Can you decide which sentences are about which trainer? Discuss your ideas with a partner.

8. Task 2 Work in groups. Discuss and write down some important rules that you think should guide the trainer and trainees from the start to end of the workshop or training course.

9. Draw a suitcase on a piece of paper. Divide the suitcase into 4 parts. In the first part write about your experience that you think is relevant to the training. In the second part write about your expectations of the training. In the third part write what the main challenges in your teacher’s practice are (by teaching students). Leave the fourth part of the suitcase empty. You will come back to this at the end of the training.

11. Have your students ever looked boring at the lesson? Have you ever been tired of the lesson more than usual? Then you may be suffering from a lack of good lesson planning !

16. Relaxation Pass the ball 1.Use two balls for this game. 2.Ask the participants to stand up in two lines of equal length, facing each other. 3. Give one ball to the first person in each line of the group. 4. It is a race to pass the ball down the line. There are some rules: 5. Don’t hold the ball with the hands. 6. The ball can’t touch the floor. 7. The group that passes the ball to the last person in their line will win.
