Announcements Please take out all of your homework now. Now that detentions are starting, all strikes/majors will be logged in the computer…BE ON TIME! If you didn’t do your homework, you better come after school. It’s mandatory that you attend office hours. Office Hours – Monday- Thursday – 4-5PM and/or by appointment. Study your literary devices. Test next Friday!

Issues w/ Engrade On the index card that I gave you yesterday, I wrote in green if I wanted to clarify something (lowercase, unclear letters or numbers, etc.) or if you received a different username. Your username is your first name and last name combined…all in lower case. Some of you needed a new account and a number was added to your username. Breaking Down “Roberto Acuna Talks About Farm Workers” by Studs Terkel Read and annotate the following nonfiction text. As you read, highlight and underline the issues that motivated Robert Acuna to become an organizer for the United Farm Workers. As you read or after you read, complete the SOAPST graphic organizer. As you write, make sure you are specific and detailed.
