3. Course Description Meets graduation and college requirements. Students need 3 years of math. Common core state standards are used to prepare students to be more career ready. Equivalent to previous Geometry course.

4. Suggested Materials *3 Ring Binder for Notes* *Scientific Calculator* Compass and Protractor Ruler Lined/Graph Paper Various Art Supplies – glue, paper, poster boards, paint, etc. (may be needed for projects)

5. Class Notebook A class notebook is required for this course. Notes are done by direct instruction, group learning, and using games/projects. Warm-Ups will be done for each lesson and will be kept in class notebook. Notebooks will be kept in class unless requested to take home. Notebook checks are once every chapter.

6. Homework Homework is posted on board every Monday. Students write in agenda or take a picture and get checked on Mondays. Due Friday. Late work can be submitted until grading period ends every 6 weeks.

7. Grading 60% Assessments – tests, quizzes, and projects. 40% Assignments – homework, class work, notebook checks, etc. *Grades will be e-mailed home every 2-3 weeks. Grades will be sent home once a month and requires a parent signature.
