Secretary General Roles & Responsibilities Coordinate Management meetings for the President, Executive Board, National Federations and other NOC partners Chair Sports awards committee preparation and logistics on behalf of the President and other major NOC events Liase with Acting Administration Manager on all NOC functions and office procedures Chair staff meetings for updates and report to President Staff and Resource Management Sports Policy – development and updating. Business plan – development and updating. Annual Budget preparation and monitoring. Including auditing for NOC through the Finance Unit Oversee the applications and implementation of the Olympic Solidarity Programs with the OS Officer and Program Managers Finalisation and updating of Office Manual and Financial Procedures. Development of sponsorship and marketing. Provision of support services for all the Commissions. The nurturing and promotion of International and Regional Sports Partnerships Responsible for communication and direct contacts to IOC, ONOC, PGC, CGF and other agencies (government and semi government) on matters related to the NOC

Staff Role & Responsibilities Acting Administration Manager Staff and resources management. Maintain a Register of Assets Sports Policy – development and updating. Business plan – development and updating. Annual Budget preparation and monitoring. Finalisation and updating of Office Manual and Financial Procedures. Development of sponsorship and marketing. Provision of support services for all the Commissions. The nurturing and promotion of International and Regional Sports Partnerships Management and support of all Committee meetings established by CISNOC, providing minutes, secretarial functions and written reports on activities. Manages staff according to office policies and individual contracts. Ensure that Solidarity Funding programs are delivered on a timely basis and accurate reporting submitted to the President and various Committees. Ensure that all operational expenses are managed effectively and contained within approved budgets, unless approved otherwise by the Board. Perform any other tasks that may from time to time be required by the President.

Staff Role & Responsibilities Sports Manager Attend meetings/workshops/conferences and provide a written or verbal report on activities and programs at the direction of the Executive Board. Staff and resources management. Prepare a “4-Year Strategic Plan also an Annual Strategic Plan” for the development of sports within the Cook Islands, with the key result being greater participation in an active and healthier lifestyle. Assist with the Strategic Planning for National Federations and Islands Sports Association, thereafter co- ordinate and management of the Strategic Plan, and reporting upon progress of the National Federations and Island Sports Associations development of sports within the Cook Islands. Encourage the development of sports and it’s programs to the National Federations and Islands Sports Associations and maintain close and effective links with these organisations. Deliver Sports Administration, Education and Coaching Courses and Seminars throughout the Cook Islands. Assist the Ministry of Education with the development of the Education Curriculum for Sports and Physical Education. Manage the provision of sports development services to specific sports as agreed from time to time. Annual Budget preparation and monitoring. Sports Policy – development and updating. Development of sponsorship and marketing. Provision of support services for Commissions as identified. Assist the in the applications for financial assistance and management of specific development and other programs funded through the Olympic Solidarity, ONOC, Allsports and others. Assist with the monitoring and reporting functions with all Olympic Solidarity programs. Manage the inventory of sports, medical and other SDU or CISNOC sports equipment. Improve sports development programs at junior, intermediate and senior level. Raise the profile of Cook Islands athletes to the standard required and level of Commonwealth and Olympic. Promote and assist with the development of the Cook Islands and Zones Games at the levels and standards required for Cook Islanders to qualify for Pacific and Oceania Games. Promote better sports organisation during tournaments and competitions, targeting a higher level of sports administration & management Develop partnerships in sports with commercial business sectors as sponsors for the development of sports throughout the Cook Islands. Maintain and update media, results and other publications through the CISNOC website, Cook Islands TV, Newspaper and other media avenues on programs in and around sports Perform any other tasks that may from time to time be required by the President and/or Executive Board.

Staff Role & Responsibilities Finance Manager Maintain a Register of Assets Business plan – development and updating. Annual Budget preparation and monitoring. Finalisation and updating of Financial Procedures. Plan and deliver all financial training. Provision of financial support services for all the Commissions. Report to the President/Treasurer on a weekly basis, to inform and report unauthorised expenditure or unusual expenditure and trends. The nurturing and promotion of International and Regional Sports Partnerships Management and support of all Committee meetings established by CISNOC, providing written reports on financial activities. Ensure that all financial reporting regarding the Solidarity Funding programs are submitted to the President and various Committees. Ensure that all operational expenses are managed effectively and contained within approved budgets, unless approved otherwise by the Board. Perform any other tasks that may from time to time be required by the President.
