3. Man’s Universal Need - Forgiveness  Forgive – “to send away, the remission of the punishment due to sinful conduct, to dismiss or release” (Vine’s).  Pardon – “to release a person from further punishment of a crime” (Webster’s).

What is God’s Second Law of Pardon?  Is it another way an alien sinner can be forgiven?  Is it for those who don’t want to be baptized?  Is it the gospel for the Gentiles, indicating different terms of admission than for the Jews (specifically, indicating baptism is not necessary – as per “Mid- Acts Dispensationalism”)?

8. 2. Erring Christians  It is possible for a Christian to sin, wander from the truth, and put his soul in eternal jeopardy (James 5:19-20).  If, instead of walking in the light, we walk in darkness, we do not have access to the forgiveness of our sins (1 John 1:6-7).
