Information About Dispatch and Communication In 2013, the Andrew County Sheriff’s Office began using a Computer Aided Dispatch System or CAD Program to assist dispatchers and staff with tracking all calls for service. Each time a call for service comes in the Sheriff’s Office for any agency (Police, Fire, or Ems) the CAD program assigns the call an Event Number.

Statistics for Dispatch The Andrew County Sheriff’s Office CAD Program assigned 9074 CAD Events Numbers in 2013. Over 6200 CAD Events have been assigned for the current year, and calls are expect to exceed 10,000 in 2014.

Deputies patrol approximately 568 Miles of County Roads and approximately 255 Miles of State Highways and Interstates to assure safety county residents. Serve Civil and Criminal court summons throughout the entire county. Provides back up to other law enforcement agencies operating within the County (Local Police Departments, Highway Patrol, Conservation Department, Etc.) Respond to all Emergency situations requiring Fire and EMS. Road Patrol

Statistics for Road Patrol for 2013 In 2013 the Andrew County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Deputies took 674 Reports (Not including traffic tickets) Road Patrol Deputies made approximately 124 arrests in misdemeanor and felony cases, not including warrants.

Administrative Office Process Civil and Criminal paperwork to be served by the deputies while on patrol Process paperwork for inmates to be transported to and from the County Jail to State Prisons or Court Appearances Process Conceal and Carry Permits Process Sex Offender 90 day registration forms and track the Sex Offenders to assure compliance with State and Federal Laws

2013 Statistics for Administrative Office 863 Civil and Criminal Summons processed and served 413 Conceal and Carry Permits processed issued 1400 Conceal Carry Permits records maintained 32 Sex Offenders processed and tracked within the County. Each Offender is required to register every 90 days, totaling 128 forms filed and maintained annually.

Closing The Proposed Tax Levy of.30 cents will generate revenue of approximately $650,000 at the current County's Assessed Valuation. This proposal has a 5 year sunset clause for renewal by the vote of the Citizens of Andrew County.
