Practice Problems: KWFL chart Force Directions: On the left-side, Copy and answer the Force problems. You can do this with another partner. 1.An object with a mass of 100 kg accelerates at a rate of 2.4 m/s 2. What force is exerted on the object? 2.A rolling object accelerates at 4.3 m/s 2. The force on the object is 86 N. What is the mass of the object? 3.What is the force exerted by a 10 kg toy car accelerating at 3 m/s 2 ? 4.What is the acceleration of a 1000 kg truck with 4000 N driving it?

Explore: Momentum Directions: On the left-side, Write the following scenario as a Group answer the question. Two ice dancers with the same mass are at rest on the ice, facing each other with their hands together. They push off on each other in order to set each other in motion. Describe their momentum and velocity.

Explore: Momentum Directions: On the left-side, Write the following scenario as a Group answer the question. A 62.1-kg male ice skater is facing a 42.8-kg female ice skater. They are at rest on the ice. They push off each other and move in opposite directions. The female skater moves backwards with a speed of 3.11 m/s. The male skater moves with a speed of 2.14 m/s. Which skater has the greater momentum and why?
