Intelligence and Learning Visual – Learns by seeing, thinks in terms of pictures – stimulated by bright lights, big pictures, moderate amount of details Auditory – Learns by verbal and instructional details, thinks in terms of sounds – stimulated by details, questions/answers, fonts and bolding effects on key points Kinesthetic – Learns by participating and doing, thinks in terms of doing – stimulated by modeling, involvement, big picture with directional details. Lots of white space Three primary modes of learning:

Intelligence and Learning Global – these learners see the big picture concepts and relationships quickly, then seek to fill-in the details Linear – these learners are sequential, they need a reference point throughout instruction and will clarify details as they go Two secondary modes of learning:
