What is IAWP The International Association of Workforce Professionals (IAWP) is a nonprofit professional educational association working to meet the needs of workforce professionals across the United States and internationally. Founded in 1913, IAWP strives to provide benefits to those involved in all aspects of workforce development. IAWP has more than 10,000 members in 15 countries worldwide.

What We Do IAWP equips members for success providing the highest quality of education, leadership, legislative awareness, information exchange, and recognition of excellence through a network of local, regional and International chapters preparing members for the workforce challenges of tomorrow. Some of the education and training benefits provided to members are the IAWP Annual Conference and Convention, the Professional Development Program, State Conferences, educational scholarships, and local training provided at the district, chapter and subchapter levels.

Recognition IAWP is an organization that believes in recognizing the professionals that use their skills and abilities to enrich the lives and the communities that they live in. There are individual and group awards. Each year awards are presented at the Washington State Conference and the International Conference. Workforce System Customer Service Award Citation Public Policy Award Administrator of the Year Award of Merit Lifetime Achievement Award Retiree of the Year

What resources are available to you as a member of the IAWP IAWP members receive the tools and resources they need to effectively contribute to the workforce development system daily. By providing relevant education, timely and informative communication and valuable findings of pertinent research, IAWP equips its members with knowledge, information and practical tools for success.
