3 FCCLA is….  A dynamic and effective student organization that helps young men and women become strong leaders in families, careers and communities  Part of the Family and Consumer Sciences program, turning classroom topics into real-world, youth-directed action  Only in-school organization with the family as its focus.

4 FCCLA is…… NNNNationwide organization with: 220,000 members Over 8000 chapters Members in all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands OOOOpen to all students in grades 6-12 who are taking or have taken a course in Family and Consumer Sciences
