muchincollegeprep.org Class Expectations -Expectations when entering the classroom: 1.Enter classroom at a Level 0. 2.Move quickly and quietly as you grab your Laptop/“Do Now” and take your seat. 3.DO NOWs are at a Level 0. 4.Open Chromebook only when instructed to do so by the teacher or by the Do Now. -Expectations when a College Counselor is up front speaking: 1.Track the speaker 2.If you have something to say, RAISE YOUR HAND. 3.PACMAN -Expectations during group work: 1.Do your work! Stay ON-TASK. Respect others by being on task without disrupting others. Don’t be a distraction. Most demerits are given for being off-task. If things aren’t working out, you’ll be moved. 2.Stay in your seat. (Don’t get the Demerit)

muchincollegeprep.org End of class Expectations With 5 minutes remaining, you will be instructed to put laptops away. One person from each table will bring laptops to the cart and hand them to one of the two greeters. The greeters will take them and return the chromebooks in the following way: proper shelf, plugged in, cord tucked away Do not linger for side conversations at the cart Move quickly and quietly back to your seat Greeters check to make sure ALL laptops are plugged in Laptops not plugged in will result in the Greeters receiving 1 Demerit. Respect your classmates and properly put away laptop. Stay in your seat (at a Level 2) until the bell rings When bell rings, leave classroom at a Level 1.

(Your college counselor will look over your applications before you submit them.) How will you know when your PS is finalized? Your advisor will “green-light” you on the Personal Statement Google Doc What if I finish my PS before my classmates? You will move forward with the application process & pick up a ‘college research’ handout or a ‘Common App’ handout
