2 Learning Objectives Develop optimal clinical approaches to heart disease based on a HEART TEAM discussion to improve short and long-term outcomes, for patient with coronary and valvular heart diseases. Assess and incorporate new technological and pharmaceutical developments in the fields of interventional cardiology and innovative cardiac surgery. Recognize novel devices (Newer stent platforms, percutaneous and surgical valves, coronary and valvular imaging tools) and apply specific technical tips and tricks. Apply evidence based up to date practice (based on ACC/AHA, ESC and CCS guidelines). Manage complications, and validate ones own practice against optimal/recommended therapeutic strategies.
