Reporting on the RRP6 The importance of reporting for Overview of needs, achievements and gaps Informed decision making Planning and managing operations Fundraising/accountability PI and advocacy Lack of defined reporting requirements for RRP5 led to difficulties in reporting

Reporting Framework Develop a reporting framework in each country and sector in consultation with partners during the RRP6 planning stage (now!) A clear reporting framework will help Having a standard set of reports Clarify roles and responsibilities Improve data availability and quality Systematic and consistent reporting Improve comparability Increase efficiency (compared to ad-hoc reports)

Reporting Requirements Define reporting requirements Audience Type of reports (Text, tables, graphs, maps, etc.) Report content Data formats - templates, indicators, definitions Data sources Data collection and data management Frequency

Defining Indicators Indicators should follow the SMART principle Specific Measurable Attainable Relevant Time-bound Important to provide definitions and guidance for each indicator

RRP6 Reporting Responsibilities Sectoral reporting is the responsibility of the Sector Coordinator Sector Working Group members are responsible for providing required reporting input in timely manner

RRP6 Reports Minimum Required Reports: Country Level Sectoral Dashboards on monthly basis Continuation of RRP5 dashboards Reporting against the RRP6 Must include indicators defined for RRP6 objectives Further information in the Guidance Note on reporting 3-5W Matrix and maps Additional reporting Can be developed by sectors and countries as required
