13  Milestone in Health Literacy Initiative (HLI), 2013  Health Literacy Core Group in BPKIHS ▪ teaching faculties and ▪ multidisciplinary health professionals in December 2013. ▪ The aim of the core group : to carry out researches, identify innovative approaches and make evidence based policy recommendations to uplift health literacy among people of Nepal.

14  Piloted short academic modules for students (PG),  Doctoral student thesis  Health literacy and knowledge of chronic diseases in Nepal (HLS EU Asia Q/ AHLA)  community based research through community based health facility and outreach clinics  Knowledge and perception on prevention of mosquito borne diseases in Nepal  health education and promotion sessions in clinics and the community.
