It is simply stated in God’s word that those who are converted to Christ will be active in God’s work.

Are You Using Your Talents? Because of His gracious gift, we will be zealous of good works. (Titus 2:11-14)

Are You Using Your Talents? The key to using our talents is to have a heart that sees things as God does! That will make you a joyful debtor in His service. (Rom 1:14-15)

Are You Using Your Talents? (Revelation 2:4-5 NKJV) “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. {5} “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place; unless you repent.

Are You Using Your Talents? Let us examine how God views us and our opportunities.

I must see Myself as a Steward What is a steward? (1 Cor 4:1)

I must see Myself as a Steward (1 Corinthians 4:1 NKJV) Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

I must see Myself as a Steward oikonomos - steward 8, chamberlain 1, governor 1; 1) the manager of a household or of household affairs 1a) esp. a steward, manager, superintendent to whom the head of the house or proprietor has intrusted the management of his affairs, the care of receipts and expenditures.

I must see Myself as a Steward How would our attitude change if we really see that all we have is really God’s? (1 Cor 4:7)

I must see Myself as a Steward (1 Corinthians 4:7 NKJV) For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

I must see Myself as a Steward Our attitude towards possessions may reflect a wrong attitude!

I must see Myself as a Steward Our attitude towards possessions may reflect a wrong attitude! We often become defensive when we are told what to do with “our” affairs.

I must see Myself as a Steward What kind of heart do you have? (Mt 6:33; 1 Tim 6:17-19)

I must see Myself as a Steward (Matthew 6:33 NKJV) “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

I must see Myself as a Steward “What you are is God's gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to God.”

I must see Myself as a Steward “What you are is God's gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to God.” God owns all things.

I must see Myself as a Steward There are many talented folks who need to see this. (Jas 1:17)

I must see Myself as a Steward (James 1:17 NKJV) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

I must see Myself as a Steward He does not need these things however. (Psa 50:12)

I must see Myself as a Steward (Psalms 50:12 NKJV) “If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness.

I must see Myself as a Steward God wants us to view life this way! (Acts 17:24-25)

I must see Myself as a Steward (Acts 17:24-25 NKJV) - “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. {25} “Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.

I must see Myself as a Steward There will be a day of accounting for our stewardship.

I must see Myself as a Steward There will be a day of accounting for our stewardship. We must be found faithful. (1 Cor 4:2; Lk 16:10)

I must see Myself as a Steward (Luke 16:10 NKJV) “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

I must see Myself as a Steward (1 Corinthians 4:2 NKJV) Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.

I must see Myself as a Steward We have a greater responsibility in accord with greater blessings. (2 Cor 8:12)

I must see Myself as a Steward (2 Corinthians 8:12 NKJV) For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.

I must see Myself as a Steward What will you say in your account on judgment day? (2 Cor 5:10)

I must see Myself as a Steward (2 Corinthians 5:10 NKJV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
