2 Australian Colors Australian sport colors are green and gold. Gold conjures pictures of Australia’s beaches, mineral wealth, grain harvests, and the fleece of Australian wool. Green evokes Australia’s forest, gum trees, and Australian landscapes. Green and gold are Australia’s national Floral emblem colors, “the golden wattle.”

3 Sports Australians take sports as serious as work. They’re good in a lot of sports but they’re especially thriving in rugby, cricket, soccer and golf. At the beginning of the Beijing Games, Australia won about 399 medals. 120 gold, about 126.5 silvers, and 152.5 bronze. They got 10 th place over all. The United States of America won 2171 medals but have a population 10x more than Australia’s

5 Australian Food Australian foods are way different from American food. Not only are they really delicious but they’re also very fattening. To the right are two Australian dishes. Aussie pie: one of Australia’s most recognizable food. It’s a pie with meat in it. Baked Snapper and Lamb and Steak.

6 Australian Animals Australia has many dangerous animals such as the Tazmanian Devil, killer spiders, great white sharks and more! They also have really sweet animals like Koala's, Kangaroos, and much more.
