Librarians from the University of California, Wake Forest University, California State University, the University of Detroit - Mercy, and other universities and colleges have contributed to building INFOMINE. 4. Advanced and Subject Category Searching: Searches are set to retrieve terms in title, subject, author, keyword, and description OR you can select which fields to search. INFOMINE HAS TWO WAYS OF SEARCHING, PEOPLE HAVE THE OPTION TO DO A BASIC SEARCH OR AN ADVANCE SEARCH. Basic INFOMINE Searching: Searches retrieve terms in: 1) title, subject, author, keyword, and description. 2) three or four pages of rich text from the Web site.

Web Crawling INFOMINE uses a range of Web crawlers to discover new Internet resources: The Nalanda iVia Focused Crawler is a focused Web crawler based on Dr. Soumen Chakrabarti's pioneering work in this field.
