Secondary industry—processing stage, commonly called manufacturing, processing, or construction. Other three types all involve services of some sort, rather than the extraction or production of commodities. Tertiary: retail, wholesale, or personal/professional services Quaternary: information, research, management Quinary: executive decision makers
