4 Markers/Inks for Use On Harnesses – Miller by Sperian The “Sharpie” brand of felt-tip marking pens from Sanford, Inc. uses a type of permanent ink that will not cause deterioration to nylon and polyester webbing. This is the only brand of marker that DuPont has tested and approved; if you have a marker other than Sharpie, please send the MSDS of the marker to the customer service department to be analysed by DuPont. If you have any additional questions on the subject please feel free to call Technical Service 800/873-5242. If you need another way to mark your harness, all Miller brand harnesses have a blank label in the back of the label pack to use for identification. 6 CDM 2015. 14. Among the 1427 responses received, some 65% were received from either CDM Co-ordinators or from the entertainments sector (which was not the target of the consultation) whose responses are effectively campaigns. 27. A substantial number of respondents to the consultation raised concerns about the perceived lack of flexibility in the transitional provisions of the revised Regulations. HSE acknowledges these concerns, and following more detailed discussions of the perceived shortcomings with industry stakeholders, proposes to redraft this provision to provide for more flexibility. The overall approach to simplifying the Regulations, however, is supported by the consultation.

7 CDM 2015. 56. HSE considers that there is a strong case to proceed with the revision to CDM broadly as proposed in the CD. HSE proposes, however, subject to Board agreement, to develop an ACOP in a reduced form as described in paragraph 31 (HSE believes, however, that a case has been made to develop a new, shorter signposting ACOP, complemented by the HSE and joint HSE-industry guidance and therefore seeks the agreement of the Board for this work to proceed in 2015). 57. The Board is therefore invited to agree that the proposed amendments to the Regulations proceed to the relevant Government clearances to allow the draft CDM 2015 Regulations to be included in the Statement of New Regulation 9, with a view to CDM 2015 coming into force in April 2015.

London Metropolitan Branch and Fire Risk Management Group have organised a joint fire safety seminar at Millwall FC on Thu 9 th Oct. Nigel Burgess fire specialist is disappointed that many safety professionals find themselves in positions of responsibility without having the requisite levels of experience, knowledge and training. This seminar will include periods where two different topics are being presented simultaneously which allows both novice and more experienced delegates to choose topics that are of particular interest to them. They have speakers that are leading experts in their field as well MP Jim Fitzpatrick who will provide the opening address and chair the panel debate. Jim is a passionate West Ham fan so getting him to come to Millwall was quite a challenge.
