Opportunities/Best Practices To Share Grouping concurrent structures technical sessions in meeting rooms with close proximity to each other— This practice should be highly encouraged in the future  Helped maintain the identity of the SDM Conference within the larger SciTech gathering.  It also made the large conference much easier to navigate. Joint TC mid-year meetings offer great interaction opportunities with other TCs 10

Issues/Concerns/Challenges For TAC Action Improved web tools for TC collaboration.  SharePoint is adequate, but ultimately cumbersome for document version control and formatting Better TAC Training  2014 and 2015 TAC Training had no training with respect to AIAA/TAC forms Interaction with other technical societies is diminished  SDM Conference had tie-ins with ASME, ASCE, ASC, AHS  Interactions seem more limited under the Scitech model Conference registration and AIAA participation can be expensive for those lacking organizational support  Consider “a la carte” system for registration -- base fee + extra fees for special events & proceedings  Reduce fees for young professionals to promote greater participation? 11
