4. What to do with old computers? It is not good for the environment to throw them out! We have to try to repair them! That’s what engineers do! But we need to know more about them! Let’s learn what is inside a computer!

7. Random Access Memory (RAM) It is the short term memory of the computer. If you have more RAM you can run more programs at the same time.

8. Power Supply: It is like the heart of the computer. It provides the required electricity to all the components.

9. Hard Drive: It is like a huge backpack that is being worn at all times. It is where everything is stored. Pictures, movies, documents, are all stored in this backpack.

10. Video Card It is like the eyes of a person with very bad eyesight. It lets you see everything that is happening but it needs eyeglasses(monitor) to show you.

11. Motherboard It is like the skin and skeleton of the computer. It holds every part together and makes sure each part can work with one another.

12. Sound cards It is like your Larynx. it allow computers to produce sound like music and voice.
