Proper Accessories & Shoes for Women Things like watches, rings and neck pieces can add a nice flair to your interview attire just DON’T OVER DO IT!! Closed toe shoes that you can walk in. (Make sure the tips are not worn down) Manicures are always a “WIN” for the ladies. No crazy colors. Go solid or clear.

Proper Accessories & Shoes for Men Wedding Rings are always acceptable unless it is a seal-ring with big shiny diamonds or sculls. Earrings are acceptable but they need to be a decent size. Black round toe shoes are always acceptable. Believe it or not Manicures are a plus for men as well in the interviewing process.

Casual Friday For Women A nice blazer usually looks good with a nice pair of jeans. Not too tight and NO RIPS OR TEARS!! A solid boot, a solid closed toe heel or a flat shoe is a great shoe to wear. Professional but casual.

Casual Friday For Men A long fleece, or a long sleeve button down. A pair of non-ripped jeans A dress shoe or a boot is also acceptable.

Interview Colors Conservative colors, such as black, blue, gray, and brown, seem to be the safest bet when meeting someone for the first time in a professional setting. Bright colors like orange, pink, and yellow or neon colors could be a distraction.

Soft Skills Communication skills Positive attitude. Time management. Work ethic. Self confidence (Shaking Hands, Eye Contact, Good posture, Etc.)

Important Facts Make sure your taking notes during a interview. Make eye contact with the speaker. Make sure your prepared. Take time to thank whoever is interviewing you for taking time out of their schedule.
