Undershirts Solid White only Should be worn under the uniform clothing No writing, pictures or designs should be on any undershirt

Student Expectations/ Code of Conduct Issued the first day of school in enrollment packet Uniforms Cell Phone Use: Prohibited during school hours, $15 fee, pick up following Monday by parent/guardian No lockers, clear/mesh backpacks allowed Come prepared to learn with school supplies

Attendance Policy Every day, Every Child On time 7:40AM, students enter building at 7:35AM; Excessive absences, more than ten (10), may result in none promotion; Provide a written excuse when absence/tardy to prevent excessive unexcused absences; Once you arrive, stay on campus!!!

Drop Off and Pick Up Students may enter the campus through the gates located on Rookin St. or Bellaire Blvd. Parents may pick up and drop students off in front of the school located on Rookin St. Students riding buses and special transportation are only allowed to be dropped off or picked up under the bus canopy located on Bellaire Blvd.

At Long Academy, our High School students participate in the HISD PowerUp Program. Students receive a laptop to use in class and at home for the entire school year. 8 th Grade students who are enrolled in a high school credit level course will receive a laptop as well. These students will be notified at the start of the school year. 15

Long Academy is committed to student excellence. All students will have access to technology on a regular basis throughout the school day. All students will be trained throughout the first few weeks of school on digital citizenship and responsible use of technology. 16
