2. The Sun is a big star covered with fire. It can cause solar flares. They are really dangerous.

3.  The Sun is in the Milky Way.  It has planets that orbit it.  The sun is in the center of the solar system.

4.  The Sun is about 4.5 billion years old.  It is about 93 million miles away from Earth.  It has gravity, its gravity keeps Earth and other planets in steady orbits.  The Sun is about 109 times larger than Earth.  The Sun produces incredible amounts of heat and light.  Its light is the building block for life on Earth.

5.  gases:  matter such as air that is not a solid or liquid.  Gravity:  A powerful force that tends to pull objects toward it.  Orbit  A circular path that objects in space, such as the Earth orbiting the Sun.
