EIFEL - Europortfolio EIFEL is the European Institute for eLearning created in 2001 We are non for profit professional association with members from around Europe Committed to supporting the continuing professional development of our members There are 8 members of staff based in different areas of France EIFEL is leading the Europortfolio consortium (www.europortfolio.org) coordinating and promoting ePortfolio developments in Europe and beyondwww.europortfolio.org We organise an annual International Conference on the ePortfolio and national events

Defining ePortfolios “A collection of authentic and diverse evidence, drawn from a larger archive, that represents what a person or organization has learned over time, on which the person or organization has reflected, designed for presentation to one or more audiences for a particular rhetorical purpose.” Educause “E ‑ portfolios have emerged as a valuable online tool that learners, faculty, and institutions can use to collect, store, update, and share information.
