Similarities All the Regions used animals for clothing. All the Regions hunted animals. They all were the first to settle on their on their land.

Contrast -Differences Northeast woodlands is located in states like Maryland along the Atlantic ocean Southeast woodlands includes states like Kentucky, north Carolina, and Tennessee Great basin is located in Utah, California, and Nevada Southwest includes new Mexico and Arizona

Compare-differences The southeast and northeast had berries and corn The great basin and southwest had cactus, and sagebrushes

Compare-differences Northeast has deer’s, bears, rabbits, and wild turkey Southeast has rabbits, deer’s, and alligators Great basin has beavers, gig horn sheep, wolf and trout's Southwest has rattlesnakes,coyote, jack rabbits, and antelopes

Compare- differences The northeast people lived in like wigwams and longhouses made from trees The great basin people live in teepees, wickiups, round houses, and teepee shaped longhouses The southeast people live in chickees The southwest people live in pueblo and hogans

Compare-differences Northeast has the Iroquois and Algonquin tribes Great basin has the hupa and shasta tribes

Compare-differences Northeast- summers hot and humid, winters-cold and snowy Southeast-summers- hot,winters-mild Great basin- very dry and desert like Southwest-deserts,days very hot and nights cold
