My first reason to support my claim is that Abby Sunderland has had many years of sailing experience. She had been training for voyage for a very long time and knew how to handle many different sailing circumstances if they were to arise, according to the news interview. Laurence Sunderland, Abby’s father, also knew Abby’s ability and talent on the water and believed she had the proper training to take on this challenge.
