The target population can be homeowners, office workers, parents, college students or anyone who might need to clean a room. When would the worst time to air this TV commercial ? I would say that a bad time would be during a televised sporting event, since the target population could be skewed. What is the product or service ? There trying to promote a cleaning towel. What need are they targetting ? There targetting our need to have a clean house, a clean room or a clean office space. What style are they using to make it interesting ? (humour, fantasy, narrative, ) They are using a persuasive style of voice.

Also, it might air during children’s TV shows.  Who is the target population ?  The target population can be children of all ages since they use many colorful characters and pleasant music.  When would the worst time to air this TV commercial ?  I would say that a bad time would be during a nightly news or during a various adult week day night sit-coms between 8pm and 10pm.   What is the product or service ?  There trying to promote all of Mc Donald’s food products.  What need are they targetting ?  There targetting our need to eat.  What style are they using to make it interesting ? (humour, fantasy, narrative, )  T hey are using a cheerful characters to attract the younger audience.

5.  Due Date : Monday NOVEMBER 9th, 2009  Part A : You must create your own TV commercial on video and newspaper or magazine advertisement and show the class.  You must invent a product and present it in 2 different ways.  (1) TV commercial : You must present this either in person or by video.  (2) Newspaper or Magazine Ad. : You must create a logo and a slogan for your product and make up an advertisement.  Part B : You must comment your commercial using the questions seen earlier as guide.
