+ Words derived from Spanish Bravo – a shout of “bravo!” Pronto – to do something quickly. Amigo – a friend. Fiesta – a party. Adobe – a sundried brick made of clay and straw. Rodeo – public display of cowboy skills (riding, roping, etc.) Comandante – a commander.
