Select Reports to Review Go to “Review or Certify Reports” Click on “Advanced Search’

Select “Chart of Account Code” Attribute Click on the Drop Down Beside “Select Attribute” Select “Chart of Account code”

Select “Chart of Account Code” Attribute Click on the “…” to the Right of the Block

Select “Chart of Account Code” Attribute Select the “Z” Code from the Available Chart Codes Click on Select

Select “Effort Period Description” Attribute Go to the next Row Click on the Drop Down Beside “Select Attribute” Select “Effort Period Description”

Select “Effort Period Description” Attribute Click on the “…” to the Right of the Block

Select “Effort Period Description” Attribute Select the “Z” Code from the Available Effort Periods (In the future, there will be more than 1) Click on Select

List Employees to Post Review Click on “Go”

List Employees to Post Review The System Will List Participants Tied to your Project Screen will Look like Below

Double-click on the employee line to open their Effort Report. The Status column should display ‘Certified’ Select Employee to Post Review

Post Review Employee Effort Review the accounting distribution(s) and the effort percentage(s). To Post Review that the effort reported is accurate, click on the ‘Review’ button. Employee Name

Post Review Employee Effort After you’ve selected “Review” you will need to wait while the system processes. You will the post review was successful when the screen will remove the selections at the bottom. The status will also show as “Completed-Locked”

Requesting Changes Review the accounting distribution(s) and the effort percentage(s). To Request Changes click the ‘Request Changes’ button.. Employee Name

Requesting Changes Email Effort_Reporting@uaex.edu with Changes Effort_Reporting@uaex.edu CC: Admin Responsible for EHIRE Changes Include “From” and “To” Fund Information Send the email

Entering Comments ALWAYS enter comments when requesting changes. Click on Comments Employee Name

Entering Comments (Cont.) Click on “Add Comment at the bottom Employee Name

Entering Comments (Cont.) Enter Comment Describing Changes or any other information Click Save

Printing Your Effort Report Click on the “More Actions” drop-down arrow, and click Print. A separate window will open displaying your report in adobe reader. Click on the Print icon. Close the window Employee Name

Return to Employee List Page Click on the “Review or Certify Reports” block. Employee Name

Double-click on the employee line to open their Effort Report. The Status column should display ‘Awaiting Certification’ When Finished, Select “Sign Out” Select Another Report
