LET’S LEARN SOME FACTS ABOUT APPLES! Apple Facts It takes about 36 apples to create one gallon of apple cider. Apples ripen 6 to 10 times faster at room temperature than if they are refrigerated. Each American eats an average of 50.4 pounds of apples and apple products each year. Nutrition Fun Facts Apples contain natural sugar called Fructose Contains complex carbohydrates that gives you an energy boost throughout the day when compared to high- sugar foods Growing Apples Honey bees are commonly used to pollinate apple trees. Apple trees typically blossom in spring with fruit maturing in autumn.
