Seminars Answer first, then read other’s answers Can’t make it? Alternate Assignment – 300 – 500 word essay answering seminar topics – Submit through “Doc Sharing” – Your answer; not those given in the transcript – Grammar is graded in alternates (not in actual seminar)

Seminars Have to leave mid-way through? – E-mail me afterward – I’ll let you know your grade based upon your participation – It is your “call” whether to complete the alternate or not

Seminar Rubric - Seminar Seminar Content: Posts are on topic and contributes to the quality of the seminar (50%) Participation: Frequent interaction on concepts being discussed by students and instructor (25%) Attendance: Student arrives on time and stays the entire seminar (25%) Alternate Assignment Content: Response is on topic, original, and contributes to the quality of the discussion. (50%) Participation: Response makes frequent, informed references to unit material (25%) Mechanics: Grammar and spelling is correct and meets minimum word requirement (25%)

How to submit to the dropbox Directions for Submitting Your Assignment: – Compose your assignment in a Microsoft Word document, and save it with a name you will remember. Be sure to include your name, class, and section number in your Assignment. Submit your assignment by selecting the appropriate unit. – Do not copy and paste your assignment into the text box!
