18  Democracy is a form of government in which all people have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. Ideally, this includes equal (and more or less direct) participation in the proposal, development and passage of legislation into law.  Lead by presidents and prime ministers.  Examples of democracies: federal republics, direct, parliamentary.

20  Greece gave us the concept of Democracy.  Countries that are Democracies: United States, India, Great Britain, Canada, Mexico, etc.

21  An autocracy is a form of government in which one person possesses unlimited power.  Auto=self rule  Countries that have this form of government: Belarus, Equatorial Guniea, Eritrea, Iran, Libya, Maldives, Togo, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe are run by autocrats.

22  is a form of government in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, corporate, or military control. Currently, only 1 country (Egypt) has this type of government.  Examples: Powerful news executives, newspapers, etc.
