Predominately in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women (75%) Hyperestrogen states associated risk (obesity, PCO); others: nulliparity, early menarch, late menopause Unopposed estrogen-->hyperplasia HRT must include a progestin Tamoxifen use

Endometrial hyperplasia (with atypia) carries up to 30% risk of transition into Endometrial cancer Adenocarcinomas are most common (95%) Usually presents in an early stage as abnormal uterine bleeding Most common extra-colonic tumor in Lynch Syndrome
