6 Partnerships to help reduce operating costs (cont.) The Goodwill Industries Connection Goodwill Industries of San Antonio has a formal Memorandum of Agreement with Project MEND to collect donated DME from their Donation Stations and bring it to their main distribution center. Twice a month, Project MEND Warehouse staff picks up the donated DME. A donation report is provided to Goodwill for their records each month.

12 Donors and funders appreciate knowing that we are a licensed salvage facility. It helps to convince them to donate DME and gives us more credibility when applying for funding. “Assume everything that comes in has poop on it!” This is a great way to convince people that you are the refurbishing and sanitizing expert!
