INSPIRATION I will be discussing 3 different school programs. All schools develop and support culturally relevant practices and great learning experiences. They help to develop 21 st Century Skills.

JEANERETTE HEAD START THE GENERAL DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION Located in Jeanerette, LA Rural setting located across from the Catholic Church. School population consists of 80% African Americans, 5% Caucasian, 5% Hispanic, and 5%other. All Students eats lunch for free.

WHY IS JEANERETTE HEAD START UNIQUE ? Head Start is a unique program because it gives children and families the opportunity to be successful in learning. The program educates family and collaborates with the classroom as well as parents a whole.

CREATIVITY & INNOVATION IN HEAD START The Head Start Program promotes a positive environment is set up into different learning areas. Dramatic Play, Discovery, Music, Blocks, and Language Arts. Head Start uses teaching strategies to assess our children. Teachers also observe children and promote them to interact with other to create ideas.

Why is Jeanerette Elementary unique? Jeanerette Elementary is unique and it offers a free education and ways to explore the school. It also give the children an opportunity to learn and places highly on student achievement.

JEANERETTE SENIOR HIGH CREATIVITY Students create a sense of pride in all members of the school’s community through leadership skills. The teachers engage with students to create a good learning environments and creativity in the classroom as a productive way of learn in the classroom and outside the classroom.
