Eastern DFC – Project Status APL-1 Board approval May 31, 2011 First stage submission and evaluation for civil and track works contracts completed PQ for systems contracts is in progress Significant progress with land acquisition Study on the potential use of public-private partnership (PPP) has also been initiated The preparation for next tranche (APL 2) might be initiated soon

Project Details and Current Status /Opportunities Project Amount USD 1050 Million, Loan Amount USD 350 Million, Made Effective on July 19, 2011, Project Age 1.2 years Distribution of Loan amount against four components – 1.Road Improvement Works – USD 260 Million 2.Highway Financing Modernization – USD 70 Million 3. Road Safety Improvement – USD 11 Million 4.Road sector Policy & Institutional Dev – USD 9 Million 5 DBFMOT concessions totaling to about USD 360 Million on offer, RFP would be issued by end of October 2012, Financial Closure expected by June 2013 About 400 Km (USD 375 Million) road upgradation would be also taken up under DBFMOT concessions under the highway financing modernization, procurement would commence by March / April 2013

Project Details and Current Status /Opportunities Project Amount USD 350 Million, Loan Amount USD 105 Million supplemented with a GEF grant of USD 20 Million, Made Effective on July 19, 2011, Project Age 2.5 years Six participating cities – Pune and Pimpri-Chinchawad (Maharashtra), Naya Raipur (Chattisgarh), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), jalandhar (Punjab), Mysore (Karnataka). Hubli-Dharwad (Karnataka) has been recently added. Large amount already committed but ITS application in Naya Raipur and Pimpri and BRT in Hubli-Dharwad may be of interest, procurement expected to commence in mid to end 2013

Project Details Currently under preparation, expected to be approved by Board March 2013 Total Project Cost USD 980 million, bank Loan Amount USD 500 Million 11 large civil works contracts spread over six states totaling to about USD 930 Million, 8 of them to be procured as Lumpsum EPC Contracts Prequalification for contractors likely to be initiated by December 2012
