2. Motion When you know both speed and direction of an object motion you know the velocity of the object. For example, if the subway is traveling at 11 m/s – than we know it’s speed. If the subway is traveling at 11m/s west – than we it’s velocity

4. Motinn How do you know if you are moving ? If you’ve ever traveled on a train you know you cannot always tell if you are in motion. Looking at a building outside the wind help you decide.

6. Reference Points To decide if you are moving you, you use your chair as a reference point. a reference point is a place or object used for comparison to determine if something is in motion. An object is in motion if it changes position position relative to a reference point
