What to Bring on the 1 st Day Planner May be purchased in the office/school store/ commons area 1 Composition Book for Science Taped/solid binding type NOT the spiral type Loose Leaf Notebook Paper Keep in a 3-ring binder Pencil Bag with at least the following: Pens/Pencils

What to Bring Every Day Please pick up my newsletter for your grade level (6 th or 8 th ) located on the front counter that explains what to bring every day, as well as additional information about class.

What Will We Learn in 6 th or 8 th Grade Science? The primary science domain taught in my 6 th grade classes will be Life Science. The primary science domains taught in my 8 th grade classes will be Physical, Earth and Space Sciences. However, all domains (Life, Physical, Earth, Space & Engineering) will be integrated throughout both grade levels. There is a strong emphasis on writing. Concepts taught come from the Middle School Next Generation Science Standards adopted by the Washington State Legislature.
