6 25 July 2007RCARO Workshop on Future Strategies6 There are total of 4 publications, namely: 1. IAEA-TECDOC-407; Training Guidelines in Non- Destructive Testing Techniques, 1987; 2. IAEA-TECDOC-462; Training Manual on Ultrasonic Testing of Materials at Level 2, 1988; 3. IAEA-TECDOC-628; Training Guidelines in Non- Destructive Testing Techniques (Spanish), 1991; and 4. Training Course Series No. 3, Industrial Radiography, IAEA, 1992.

7 25 July 2007RCARO Workshop on Future Strategies7 The Project also induced investments in nuclear technology, government and private sectors, amounting to 190 million US dollars

8 25 July 2007RCARO Workshop on Future Strategies8 1. It was the biggest regional project 2. High level management supports to meeting its objectives. 3. Regional network of National Project Coordinators and National Sub-Project Coordinators formed functioning arms to ensure all milestones would be met. 4. The Regional Office also played liaison’s role between the Project and UNDP offices 5. The Project benefited both government and private sectors in financial terms. Lesson Learned

9 25 July 2007RCARO Workshop on Future Strategies9 Achieved high spirit of cooperation among RCA member countries and the IAEA; The UNDP New York highly praised the Project as the most successful regional project; The success of the Project induced establishments of the other regional groups of the IAEA Member States; The success of the Project also proved that RCA member countries are capable of being good and effective partner with the IAEA Conclusions
