4. Intelligence Anastasi believed that “intelligence is not a single, unitary ability, but rather a composite of several functions. The term denotes that combination of abilities required for survival and advancement within a particular CULTURE.” She stated: each culture has its own definition of what an intelligent person is there are ways to measure what skills and knowledge a person has acquired in life
