Soil Survey Description of Soil 1
- Ankona sand Poorly drained , nearly level, slope, on broad flatwood - Surface layer is 11 inches thick. Black in the upper 3 inches and grey in the lower 8 inches - Subsurface layer is sand 38 inches thick. Gray in the upper 24 inches and grayish brown in the lower 3 inches. - Subsoil extends to a depth of 57 inches. Black moderately cemented sand in the upper 10 inches and dark grayish brown sandy loam in the lower 9 inches. - The substratum ,to a depth of 80 inches or more, is olive gray loamy sand.

- Pineda sand - Poorly drained, nearly level soil - Surface layer is sand 6 inches thick, very dark grayish brown in the upper 3and dark in the lower 3 inches. - Upper part of sub soil extends to a depth of 34 inches, yellowish brown sand in the upper 6 inches, strong brown sand in the next 9 inches and pale brown sand in the lower 13 inches. - Lower part of subsoil is olive gray sandy loam that extends to a depth of 52 inch. - The substatum, to a depth of 80 inches or more is gray loamy sand.
