RELIGION Religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and word views that relate humanity to an order of existence. Many religions have narratives, symbols, and sacred histories that aim to explain the meaning of life, the origin of life, or the Universe.

Religion In the Merchant of Venice one of the main themes is religion and it is a significant theme in the narrative of the book. The main cause of Shylock seeking revenge is that Antonio had scorned his nation, the Jewish nation.

quotes Shylock: Yes, to smell pork, to eat of the habitation which your prophet the Nazarite conjured the devil into! I will buy with you, sell with you, talk with you, walk with you, and so following; but I will not eat with you drink with you, nor pray with you. (act I scene 3 26-29)

quotes Shylock: Many a time and oft In the Rialto you have rated me About my moneys and my usances: Still I have borne it with a patient shrug, For sufferance is the badge of all our tribe. You call me misbeliever, cut-throat dog, And spit upon my Jewish gaberdine, And all for use of that which is mine own. (act I scene 3 97-103)

quotes To bait fish withal. If it will feed nothing else, it will feed my revenge. He hath disgraced me and hindered me half a million, laughed at my losses, mocked at my gains, scorned my nation, thwarted my bargains, cooled my friends, heated mine enemies-and what’s his reason? I am a Jew. Hath not a Jew eyes? Hath not a Jew hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions? Fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer as a Christian is? (act 3 scene I 40-48)

Jihadism Jihadism is a western neologism used to refer to the most violent and radical political strands within Islam, characterized by frequent and brutal use of terrorism in the name of jihad, alleged that his supporters to call a "holy war" the name of Allah.

Jihadism The principles of all these doctrines are to restore the greatness of Islam, Muslim societies from strict orthodoxy and the aspiration to create political structures that ensure and promote the realization of these principles. The scope of action can only be regional but all lines coincide in the desire to achieve unity of all Muslims, and Islam will spread all over the planet.
