What a Blind Man Helps Us to See Mark. 8:22-26 (Mark 8:22-26) Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, "I see men like trees, walking." Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. Then He sent him away to his house, saying, "Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town." (NKJV)

What a Blind Man Helps Us to See True faith will be demonstrated through our gestures for others (8:22). Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

What a Blind Man Helps Us to See True faith will be demonstrated through our gestures for others (8:22). Although our faith should be evident to others, we don’t demonstrate our faith to be seen by others (8:23, 26).

Matthew 6:1–6 (NKJV) 1 “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. 5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

What a Blind Man Helps Us to See True faith will be demonstrated through our gestures for others (8:22). Although our faith should be evident to others, we don’t demonstrate our faith to be seen by others (8:23, 26). Accept the Method (8:23). Isaiah 45:9 (NKJV) 9 “Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?

What a Blind Man Helps Us to See True faith will be demonstrated through our gestures for others (8:22). Although our faith should be evident to others, we don’t demonstrate our faith to be seen by others (8:23, 26). Accept the Method (8:23). Stick with Jesus until the healing is complete (8:25)! Matthew 10:22 (NKJV) 22 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
